Holder of a Licentiate in Law (LL.L.) from the Civil Law Section of the University of Ottawa, Alice Jolin-Law is beginning her Bar articling with enthusiasm and determination. Throughout her studies she was actively involved in the committee of the Canadian Students Association for Children's Rights, developing her interest in the defence of rights and access to justice. Passionate about criminal law from the outset of her path, she is driven by a deep desire to help people and to contribute to a fair and equitable application of the law.

Approach to clients

Known for her attentive listening, empathy and ease in building relationships of trust, she places great importance on the human side of legal practice. Sociable, persevering and engaged, she aims to put her skills at the service of clients while continuing to grow as a future criminal-defence lawyer.

Court experience

Bar articling at Velandia & Pouyes Avocats. Legal research, file preparation and support to the lawyers under supervision.
