The Firm
VP Avocats is a Québec criminal-defence firm. We represent people who are charged, arrested or under investigation, before courts across Québec.

In court
We represent our clients before any courthouse and any municipal court in the territory served, in the criminal and penal division as well as before the Superior Court. Our lawyers travel to the court with jurisdiction: you do not need to attend, except at the judge's request, at trial where applicable and at the conclusion of the file.

Two offices: Rosemère (main office) and Gatineau. From these two anchor points we serve the Laurentians, Lanaudière, Laval, Montréal, the South Shore and the Outaouais, along with neighbouring regions.

One team, two offices
Daniela Velandia and Stéphane Pouyes, partners, lead the firm's criminal-defence practice. Alexandra Pepin, legal technician, is your first point of contact and handles the administrative follow-up of your file. Alice Jolin-Law, intern, supports the team with research and file preparation.

Fees are generally fixed: an amount agreed in advance covers the steps described in the agreement. The first call is used to understand your situation and assess urgency, with no obligation. VP Avocats does not accept legal-aid mandates.
